Navigating the Climate Challenge: The Founding Mission of our Sustainable Investment Strategy

Navigating the Climate Challenge: The Founding Mission of our Stable Climate Equities Strategy
In the ever-evolving landscape of the market, there are challenges that remain constant. Climate change is one such challenge. Our mission at RAM AI has always been clear - leveraging technology and data to craft innovative solutions. As we mark the third anniversary of our Stable Climate Equities strategy, we reflect on our founding mission and progress to date. Established in response to the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) report, the strategy's philosophy revolves around the future and is classified as Article 9 under the Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation (SFDR).

The Blueprint: Operations-Based Decarbonisation and Data-Driven Investing
We align our investing strategy with the urgency of ecological transition, focusing on the critical aspect of reducing carbon emissions in day-to-day operations - a strategy known as operations-based decarbonisation. This approach leads to a highly diversified portfolio across sectors and sets us apart from many impact funds that concentrate primarily on specific climate solutions, such as renewable energy. We adopt a systematic, bottom-up approach, investing in companies committed to emission reduction and advancing a low-carbon economy within their respective sectors. Reliable and actionable data guide our decisions, underscoring our firm belief in the power of data to drive sustainable investments. To this end, we are diligent contributors to initiatives such as the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP), advocating for enhanced environmental disclosures.

Looking Forward: The Journey Continues
Reflecting on the Stable Climate Equities strategy's past three years, we acknowledge the challenges embraced and milestones achieved. As our assets under management approach the significant 100M USD mark, our resolve to promote sustainable investment strategies is further reinforced. We are committed to our onward journey, fortified by our data-centric approach, proactive involvement, and focus on sustainability. Our commitment to sustainability and innovation drives us to continually enhance our strategy. Research is a perpetual endeavour, and we actively seek fresh perspectives and ideas to augment our capabilities. We are thrilled to be collaborating with the Zurich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW) and the University of Zurich (UZH) on innovative research supported by Innosuisse funding. These partnerships underscore our dedication to harnessing cutting-edge research and technological advancements in our quest to provide sustainable investment solutions.
